Vincennes to Vincennes - 1.8 miles
83° and Partly Cloudy
Arrival in Vincennes: Core pilgrims travel from Notre Dame to Vincennes. Pilgrims will celebrate mass at the same place where Fr. Sorin and the Brothers first gave thanks upon their arrival in 1841. Following mass, pilgrims walk together along the first two miles through downtown and admire the beautiful Wabash River, which will be our guide north. Dinner enjoyed on the banks of the river in Kimmell Park, which will include brief remarks from Fr. Jenkins, Mayor Joe Yochum, and Governor Holcomb, who will provide pilgrims with a passport stamp representing Vincennes.

We will travel those miles in a collective renewal of our determination, to rededicate ourselves to Notre Dame’s mission to seek God, study the world, and serve humanity—to boldly lead the way into the new chapters of our story.
