Day 5
Crawfordsville to Lafayette – 41.1 miles
Mostly Sunny with a High of 83°
Crawfordsville: The journey follows Sugar Creek through Montgomery County. The day includes beautiful views of running water, War of 1812 and Revolutionary War gravesite visits, and much natural beauty as we approach our lunch destination west of Crawfordsville. Pilgrims will later travel through “Hickory” where the opening scene of the movie Hoosiers was filmed. Pilgrims celebrate mass at Pioneer Chapel at Wabash College and enjoy dinner on the campus.

The Journey
August 13-26, 2017
In the tradition of Father Sorin’s inspirational journey and intrepid spirit—our Notre Dame spirit—we will retrace his journey from Vincennes to Notre Dame. We will travel those miles in a collective renewal of our determination, to rededicate ourselves to Notre Dame’s mission to seek God, study the world, and serve humanity—to boldly lead the way into the new chapters of our story.
